Riot Games are responsible for the worldwide phenomenon League of Legends, a success both in online gaming and eSports.
Riot first asked us to attend their European finals in Madrid in 2018. They asked us to film the amazing cosplayers and capture the excitement of the event.
We were lucky enough to be granted permission to film the cosplayers on the main stage, graced by some of the biggest talents in eSports. On top of that, we were filming in front of an audience of thousands of excited fans.
The video was so successful that we were invited back to Athens the following year to film the event which was on an even larger scale. The Greek event took place in the former Olympic Arena and saw estimated audience of 40,000!
The videos from these events were very well received within the cosplay and eSports community. Riot went on to use the videos in their Gamescom 2019 League of Legend activations, as well as asking us to produce a highlight video of past events for their Online Championships in 2021!
